After a particularly dry winter, rain pelted down overnight and continued through Thursday morning, making the early morning commute a bit of a nail biter.

Temperatures in the Bay Area hovered in the low 50s and rain is expected to last throughout the day and into Friday.

Meteorologists are suggesting your wear your jacket and bring and umbrella. And San Francisco International Airport was reporting delays of up to two hours because of the weather.
