Oakland police are investigating a body found Monday night at the intersection of 23rd Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way.
A body was found under an Oakland freeway on Monday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A coroner was called to the intersection of 23rd Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way shortly before 8 p.m., according to the CHP.
Oakland police are handling the investigation. Police could not immediately provide more information but said the death does not appear to be a homicide.
