San Francisco police are investigating a shooting in the Ingleside neighborhood.
One person received a gunshot wound to the ankle in the shooting on Brighton Avenue Thursday evening, and the injury does not appear to be life-threatening, police Sgt. Danielle Newman said.
A nearby Whole Foods the suspected shooter was seen running into was evacuated during the investigation.
Police remain on the scene and further information is not yet available, Newman said.
