Prince Fan Lands a Guitar, Beat Down

What does $750 get you at a Prince concert? For one man it promised a front row seat and a beat down.

ABC 7's Cecilia Vega tells the interesting story of Perry Litchfield who spent $750 to sit in the front row of Prince's Wednesday night concert in Oakland.

The show that has been getting rave reviews had a little extra twist for Litchfield this night. The flamboyant singer made eye contact with the fan and then threw his guitar into the crowd, according to Litchfield.

He tells Vega after that all he remembers is catching the guitar and getting pounced on by fans.

After a few bruises and a few more scratches. security pulled Litchfield from the crowd and one of Prince's handler's reportedly demanded the guitar back.

Litchfield was given a guitar pick to remind him of how he got his bruises. Prince did not return Vega's calls for a comment.

Regardless, head over to ABC 7 and check out Vega's interview with Litchfield.
