Search Continues for 'Utility Worker' in Russian Hill Murder

Slain on the second floor of her apartment building, Kathleen "Kate" Horan, 46, was found Oct 30 when friends worried for her safety, according to SFGate.com.

She and her mother had just returned from a trip to Buenos Aires that afternoon, according to SF Weekly.

The man being sought is described as 5-foot-9 to 6-feet tall and 20-40 years of age. He was wearing a white hard hat, utility belt and dark coveralls and boots. Police believe his left hand may be injured and/or bandaged.

Other details are being withheld during the investigation.
