    San Jose police on Thursday were investigating a man's death as a homicide, according to a police spokesman. (Published Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016)

    San Jose police on Thursday were investigating a man's death as a homicide, according to a police spokesman.

    Officers responded to the 2100 block of Turnhouse Lane at about 1:05 p.m. on a report of a possible dead body, police said. Upon arrival, officers located a man's body outside a home.

    The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation. The identity of the victim is not being released until the Coroner’s Office has verified the identity and next of kin has been notified, police said.
