A South Florida woman is in jail accused of cheating a Sunnyvale woman out of more than $800,000 in a "psychic scam."

Peaches T. Miller could be sent to Santa Clara County within two weeks to face charges of extortion and grand theft.

According to court documents, the Sunnyvale victim was going through a messy divorce and contacted Miller back in 2002.

The victim says she became brainwashed into believing that her ex-husband was using voodoo curses against her and that Miller was the only one who could save her.

The victim says she believed Miller was only blessing the money and Miller would eventually return it all to her.
