The French Laundry has a new look for spring.
Thomas Keller plans to reopen his acclaimed Yountville restaurant on April 7, midway through a renovation project that has kept it closed since December.
According to Inside Scoop SF, The French Laundry is building a new entry court, annex and kitchen. The improvements aren't expected to be finished until the fall, but the staff will be cooking out of a temporary kitchen fashioned out of a shipping container.
Reservations for the first several weeks of service are currently full on OpenTable but the restaurant maintains a waiting list for cancellations.
