Two Men Shot and Wounded in East San Jose, Both in Stable Condition

Two men were reported in stable condition after suffering gunshot wounds Saturday afternoon in a residential neighborhood near Capitol Expressway in East San Jose, a police sergeant said.

San Jose police responded to a call at 1:48 p.m. Saturday about two adult males who were shot near the intersection of Nordyke and Westboro drives, police spokeswoman Sgt. Heather Randol said.

The wounded men were transported to a hospital where they were in stable condition, Randol said.

The suspect in the shooting is still outstanding, Randol said.
