Supreme Court Upholds Mich. Affirmative Action Ban

The U.S. Supreme Court upheld Michigan's ban on affirmative action in college admissions on Tuesday. The high court said in a 6-2 ruling that voters had the right to change their state constitution to prevent public colleges and universities from using race as a factor for admission. Arizona, California, Florida, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, and Washington have all banned affirmative action.
