Giants manager Bruce Bochy kept his word and put the slumping Pat Burrell back in the line-up for Game 5 of the World Series Monday night.

He isn't playing outfield though. Burrell is the designated hitter. In his place is another slumping slugger - Aaron Rowand.

Here's the line-up:

  1. Torres rf
  2. Sanchez 2b
  3. Posey c
  4. Ross lf
  5. Uribe 3b
  6. Huff 1b
  7. Burrell DH
  8. Renteria ss
  9. Rowand cf

Lincecum is pitching.

The tweeking is not being questioned by anyone at this point. From the final day of the regular season Bruce Bochy has not done any wrong.  Every move he makes, no matter how big or how small, is pure gold.

The Giants are trying to win their first World Series in 56 years and first since moving out West way back in 1958.

If they lose they come back home for a Game 6 Wednesday night.
