There's a silver lining embedded inside disappointing
Sunday was no exception, following the 49ers' 34-27 loss to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. The loss put the 49ers two games behind the Arizona Cardinals for the NFC West lead. Singletary was asked about being two games behind
"I don’t care about the Cardinals. I care nothing about the Cardinals. I care nothing about anything else that’s happening in the NFL," Singletary yelled to the questioner Principal Joe Clark-style, in comments transcribed in the San Jose Mercury News. "It’s as simple as that. I don’t care about the Cardinals. Done."
Not sure if the phrase "I don't care about the Cardinals" is going to be turned into a billboard campaign the way "I want winners" was. But if so, then those would be really fantastic billboards.
These 49ers may be losing their grip on a possible division crown. But Coach Singletary makes the losses a lot more fun than Coach Nolan did.
