Warriors' Curry Suffers Another Ankle Sprain

Curry’s status for Wednesday’s game in question

Warriors guard Stephen Curry has dealt with now five sprained ankle injuries this season and in practice Tuesday suffered what the team is calling a mild sprain of his right ankle.

Curry’s status for Wednesday’s home game against the New Orleans Hornets is in question and will be determined before game time at Oracle Arena in Oakland.

In 36 games this season, Curry is averaging 18.7 points and 5.9 assists. The Warriors lost to the San Antonio Spurs 113-102 on Monday to fall to a record of 19-25 (12.5 games back of the division leading Los Angeles Lakers).

In their game with the Hornets on Wednesday, Golden State is playing their second game of an eight-game homestand.
