Jesse Hahn did his part, but the A's had no answers for opposing pitcher Dallas Keuchel as he struck out nine Sunday in Houston.
Oakland lost 7-2 and is now 11-14 on the season.
Hahn pitched six innings and struck out six while only allowing two earned runs. He now has a 2.25 ERA this season.
