Tweet to the big guy -- in 140 characters or less

You know Twitter's a big deal when even God's got one.

A new Twitter page is helping the religious get closer to the holy Father, allowing users to tweet prayers to be placed on Jerusalem's Western Wall, Reuters reported.

Israeli student Alon Nir will take the prayers from www.twitter.com/thekotel and tuck them as rolled-up scrolls near the Wall, where centuries of devout worshippers have come to pay respect to the Lord.

"People trusted me with their innermost feelings and secret thoughts...and it's my duty to provide them with what I promised," Nir told Reuters.
