A 24-year-old man was arrested for indecent exposure in
unincorporated Sonoma County's Graton area early Sunday morning after he was
caught masturbating in a yard, sheriff's deputies said.

A resident on Irving Street called police shortly after 2 a.m. and
reported a person had been looking into the home through a window and had
then gone into the yard to masturbate, according to deputies.

When deputies arrived, the man attempted to flee but was
apprehended when he failed to negotiate a barrier and injured himself,
deputies said.

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment and booked into
jail on charges of indecent exposure and resisting arrest after he was
medically cleared, according to deputies.
