Volunteers deliver hot meals and provide companionship to homebound adults and seniors during the week. The Health Trust provides the hot meals, background information about the clients and detailed directions to their homes. Volunteers supply their time and energy, as well as the automobile and gasoline to complete the delivery. Because of the training involved as well as the need for stability for our clients, we require a minimum six-month commitment, one day per week. Volunteers must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, and must successfully complete a background check.
