The GGNRA is not only fun to explore, its also an amazing place to volunteer. No matter how young or old you are and what your interests and abilities might be, everyone is welcome to pitch in to give back and have a good time in the process.
The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy has more than 30,000 active volunteers and we’re all invited to join them. Yakuta Poonawalla, Community Programs Manager for the Parks Conservancy in San Francisco, lives near the Presidio and describes some of the trails she loves to follow there on a regular basis. Then, Yakuta lets us know about the extensive volunteer opportunities available to everyone throughout the GGNRA.
