TWIST AND SHOUT: The Beatles: Rock Band is being released today at midnight, and if you're a true fan of John, Paul, George, and Ringo, you'll head over to one of the release parties to celebrate. One example: the festivities at this Oakland Blockbuster.
AMERICAN IDOL: Season seven American Idol winner David Cook is bringing his rock 'n roll vocals to San Francisco tonight. See him at the Fillmore at 8 p.m.
VERY MARY SONGS: Step in time! A Mary Poppins Sing-A-Long will take place at 7 p.m. at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco.
