'Top Chef Just Desserts' Tim Nugent Eats Through The Mission

This week 'Top Chef: Just Desserts' said goodbye to D.C-based pastry chef Heather Chittum.The week before, the door was shown to our own Tim Nugent.

Nugent is the executive pastry chef at Scala's Bistro in San Francisco's Sir Francis Drake Hotel. His departure came as a surprise given competitor Seth Caro's giant, and now widely-circulated meltdown.

"Seth [Caro] and I actually shared a table, and the situation was a little crazy," Nugent says. "I thought his reaction to the sorbet not freezing was a little much. I really hope he pulls it together."

Apparently he hasn't yet and the series is turning into the weekly Seth tantrum show.
