Feel free to keep your pants on when riding BART next week.

Some BART riders might get frustrated with late trains or high ticket prices but even they can't complain about free BART stuff.

The transit agency really wants to get people out of their car and on to its train. That's why Monday, BART is kicking off "Try BART Week" by giving away free stuff.

What free stuff you ask? How about tickets to watch the Big Game between Cal and Stanford? Not a sports fan? Maybe you would be more interested in getting $2,500 worth of free BART tickets. That's a lot of rides through the transbay tube.

Entering to win is simple. Simply right BART next week and wait for the word of the day to flash on one of the station message boards and text it back to the agency.
