The celebrated San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival returns to the Palace of Fine Arts in June for three weekends of awe-inspiring performances from more than 20 world cultures, including 12 World Premieres and two North American Premieres.
Parangal Dance Company presents Kopyan chi Biyeg (rituals and traditions of life), which indigenous cultural dance from the rugged Cordillera Mountain Range in Northern Luzon. For the Ga'dang and Kalinga people, these dances and rituals pay homage to the gods, connect with the spirit world and honor traditions on Earth.
