San Francisco Institution Is Whole Again

Lefty O'Doul's, a favorite Union Square tourist trap and San Francisco institution, has finally gotten back its arm.

Several years ago two presumably drunken tourists ripped off the left arm of the Lefty O'Doul mannequin and made a run for it. That's a problem considering the restaurant and lounge was named after and opened by the famed San Francisco native and former New York Giants' great Francis Joseph "Lefty" O'Doul, who of course was left handed.

Now, two years later, the arm has been returned. And with pictures of where it's been!

What a journey it's had. The arm also came with a list of the adventures it's been on, including participating in a 12,000-cyclist bike race across Iowa.
