Antioch Police Investigating Residential Shooting

Police are investigating a shooting in Antioch that left a man and a woman injured Saturday night, police said.

Shortly before 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a report that a woman had been shot in the 3700 block of Clayburn Road near Lone Tree Way.

Upon arrival, emergency crews found a 20-year-old Antioch woman inside a residence with gunshot wounds not considered life-threatening, police said.

The person who shot the woman had fled the scene before police arrived, officers said. 

According to police, witnesses reported seeing an injured man at the residence leave the scene before police arrived. 

The injured man later arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound not considered life-threatening, police said.

Both the man and the woman are expected to survive, according to police.

The case is still being investigated and police have not released any suspect information or any arrests made in connection with the shooting.
