Body Found at Saratoga Springs Campground

    A coroner was called to creek inside Saratoga Springs campground Friday night.

    The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the discovery of a dead body at Saratoga Springs campgrounds.

    Investigators were were dispatched to the scene on a report of a possible dead body around 7 p.m.

    When deputies arrived they found a deceased male person in a creek bed.

    It was not immediately known if the person was is a victim of suicide or homicide, according to the sheriff's office.

    The man's identity has not been released pending  notification of his next of kin. The sheriff's department told Bay City News that he was in his 40s.

    The campground is on Big Basin Way at Sanborn Road in unincorporated Santa Clara County.
