At least two men were stabbed Monday night near the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, according to reports from the Santa Cruz Sentinel.
Police were still piecing together what happened, and roped off the boardwalk’s arcade, Cocoanut Grove and a portion of Beach Street. A spokesperson for the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk told NBC News the incident did not happen on Boardwalk property.
“There were numerous victims. We’re still trying to figure out what happened,” Santa Cruz police Sgt. Gregg Crofts told the Santa Cruz Sentinel.
Crofts said he believed both men suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
