According to the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, a Special Investigation Unit and Anti-Violence Support Effort team served a search warrant at a house on the 4500 block of Elkhorn Way around 11 a.m.

The search yielded methamphetamine, heroin, ecstasy, and marijuana, which officials believe was for sale. The drugs are valued at roughly $30,000, sheriff’s deputies said.

Seven firearms, including one shotgun, two assault rifles and four handguns, were also confiscated. Two handguns were reported stolen as was a motorcycle that detectives found.

Detectives also recovered $76,000 in cash.

Two suspects – identified as 40-year-old Michael Green and 30-year-old Joseph Lowery – were arrested and booked into the Martinez Detention Facility. The pair faces a litany of charges, including possession of drugs while armed with a loaded firearm, maintaining a place for the purpose of selling drugs, and possession of stolen property.

Officials wrote on Facebook that Green is being held on $430,000 bail while Lowery’s has been set at $340,000.
