The superintendent of the Fremont Unified School District resigned Friday at special board meeting, the district said in a statement.
It is not yet clear why Dr. Kim Wallace resigned, but the district confirmed that she will finish her contract, which goes through the end of June.
Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, Dr. Raul Zamora, will act as interim superintendent, the board said.
