Fremont police activity

Police activity Friday afternoon shut down the area of Mowry Avenue and Farwell Drive, near Interstate 880 in Fremont.

Aerial coverage from NBC Bay Area's SkyRanger showed officers and a police K9 searching a neighborhood. There was also police activity on the Mowry on-ramp to I-880.

The Fremont Police Department just before 4 p.m. announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, the police activity had been cleared and all impacted areas and roadways were back open.

No other information was immediately available.
