Power Restored to Over 22K PG&E Customers in Gilroy

Over 22,000 PG&E customers in South Bay were without power Friday morning, according to the utility company.

PG&E says it is still assessing the cause of the outage that affected around 22,765 customers across Gilroy. The outage was reported around 8:38 a.m., according to PG&E's website. 

"Please remember to drive slow and safe during power outages. If a traffic signal it not working, please treat the intersection as if it were controlled by stop signs," Gilroy police warned residents.

The company said the power was restored just before 11 a.m. Friday.

No other information was immediately available.
