BART officials halted Green Line service between Berryessa and Daly City stations Thursday morning, and it wasn't restored until more than two hours later.
The 5:36 a.m. news release provided no cause and no further details about the service stoppage.

WATCH HEREBART later said it was recovering from an equipment problem on the tracks. As of 8 a.m., a 20-minute delay remained on the Berryessa line in all directions because of the equipment problem at the Bay Fair station, BART officials said.
