Two of the eight circus performers injured after plummeting to the ground during Sunday’s “human chandelier” performance in Providence have critical spinal cord injuries, surgeons with Rhode Island Hospital said on Wednesday. Surgeons have performed 17 operations on eight patients, New England Cable News reported.
