A Fontana family has been living in fear after a suspect broke into their home and masturbated in the room of one of their 13-year-old daughters.
The suspect, identified as Jonathan Ward, 21, broke into the home about 2:45 a.m. on Aug. 30, police said.
The suspect can be seen in surveillance footage motioning with his index finger to his lips at the surveillance camera and then going upstairs to the girl's room where he begins to masturbate, police said.
The girl woke up and screamed and Ward ran downstairs and out the door, authorities said.

He was quickly identified and arrested at his home a few miles away, officials said.
"It's extremely terrifying," said the mother at a Wednesday morning news conference. "Our daughters are extremely terrified. All of them can't sleep at night. None of them want to sleep alone."
Police said Ward became infatuated with girls at a dance studio and began following them on social media where he learned where they lived, authorities said.
Officials said the suspect had been in court for a similar offense in 2017 about 24 hours before this attack.
It's unclear whether Ward has an attorney.
