From the catwalk to the racks, polka dots are having a major moment this fall.

Who can resist polka dots? Favored by the likes of Minnie Mouse and Brigitte Bardot, polka dots have a colorful history in fashion that continues this fall with a smattering of playful bespeckled ready-to-wear and accessories. At J.Crew, a dotted cashmere pullover plays off a busy pair of blue tweed trousers.
Commes Des Garcons is known for its polka-dotted leather accessories, but we've never seen quite so many in stores as we have this season, with chic little add-ons like this leather receipt pouch ($155 at Net-a-Porter).
