SF Voters May Have Hard Time Finding Polling Place

Dozens of locations have changed

San Francisco residents wanting to cast their votes Nov. 4 may not  be heading to the same polling places they did in June, the Department of  Elections announced.

According to the department, a total of 40 polling sites in the  city have moved between the June and November elections and voters need to be  aware of the changes.

Voters are urged to check the back cover of their voter  information pamphlets to confirm the address of their polling places.

In addition, the Department of Elections will be posting signs at  old locations advising residents of their new polling places. The signs will  include directions, cross streets and accessibility information.

The department said that if any additional polling places change  after the voter information pamphlets have been sent, voters will be sent a  postcard advising them of the new location.
