Levi's Stadium will host the South American soccer tournament Copa America Centenario in 2016.
The competition will take place in venues throughout the United States from June 3-26, 2016. It will be the first time it has been held in the U.S. in its 100-year history, according to SFGate.
A statement by U.S. Soccer reveals that the U.S. team has automatically qualified to compete. Among the South American contingent is Uruguay, a 15-time winner of Copa America.
