Metallica Night at the San Jose Sharks is over, but the memory remains. As do the jerseys. And a piece of the action can be yours forever at auction, according to reports.
The San Jose Sharks have put up for auction the jerseys worn by the members of Metallica at Metallica Night, according to Sports Ilustrated.
Bidding on the jerseys, autographed by James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, Lars Ulrich and Robert Trujillo had exceeded $1,500 apiece as of Wednesday afternoon.
The money will go to the Sharks Foundation, according to the team. The Sharks Foundation funds various youth programs in the San Jose area.
Bidding ends Thursday night, so speed is of the essence.
