Former Stanford tight end Konrad Reuland died on Monday from a brain aneurysm, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh announced after his team's 30-23 loss to the Patriots.
Reuland was 29 years old.
"Just want to offer condolences to his family. We love Konrad Reuland," Harbaugh said to the media. "Every single guy in that locker room loves him who knows him."
The 49ers signed Reuland as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He finished his NFL career playing in 30 total games between the Jets and Ravens.
Reuland last played in the NFL for the Ravens last season, earned one start in his four games played. The former Stanford Cardinal finished his NFL career with 12 receptions for 90 yards.
Stanford and the Ravens each paid their respects for the Reuland family on Twitter.
