Durant, Thompson Combine for 31 in Team USA's Win Vs Nigeria

In the final tuneup before the Rio Olympics begin, Team USA downed Nigeria, 110-66, Monday night in Houston's Toyota Center. 

Two Warriors sharpshooters, Kevin Durant (17) and Klay Thompson (14), combined for 31 points in the win. The two combined to shoot 10 for 17 (58.8 percent) from the field. 

Draymond Green also chipped in two points, six rebounds and three assists, to round out Golden State's Olympic trio.

Kings big man DeMarcus Cousins was one of six players on Team USA to score double-digit points, dropping in 10 of his own. He also added five rebounds on the night. 

Carmelo Anthony led the USA with 19 points, shooting 7 for 13 from the floor. 

Ike Diogu, drafted No. 9 overall by the Warriors in the 2005 NBA Draft, scored 10 points while also adding nine rebounds and six assists for Nigeria. 

The Rio Olympics begin Saturday at 3 p.m. PT for Team USA as they face China in Group A of the tournament.
