Giants Re-create ‘Friends' Opening Credits Ahead of TV Show's 25th Anniversary

Hey, how YOU doin'?

(Sorry, I had to).

It was 25 years ago when television sitcoms changed forever with the creation of "Friends." We wanted Rachel's hair, Monica's ability to throw together a good party, Chandler and Phoebe's humor -- and Joey's game.

And Ross ... well, he was there, too. And knew about dinosaurs.

The Giants wanted to pay tribute to the show that brought us laughs, classic lines and endless coffee at the "Central Perk" in Manhattan by recreating the opening scene -- and it was perfectly executed:

The video features cameos from Brandon and Jalynne Crawford, Joe, and Brittany Panik, as well as Will Smith and his girlfriend Taylor Dunagan. They also used the official "Friends" couch and lamp along with umbrellas (with Giants' logos) to seal the deal.

The Giants will be celebrating "Friends Day" on August 5 at Oracle Park in advance of the show's 25th anniversary in September.

Game attendees will receive a "Central Perk" inspired coffee mug which will feature an image of the Giants recreation of the "Friends'" opening credits. In addition, a VIP event will be held, giving those hardcore "Friends" fans the chance to take photos on the iconic couch (without any pivoting issues we hope) and visit the Perk pop-up set that has been produced for the milestone.

Those Giants -- they'll be there for you.
