Rockies Vs. Giants Lineups: Jeff Samardzija Makes Final Start of Season

The 16th inning of Tuesday/Wednesday's Giants-Rockies game was not for the faint of heart. San Francisco ended up falling 8-5 to Colorado during the marathon, dropping skipper Bruce Bochy's career record to one loss below the .500 mark.

The Giants to bring it back in game two of the three-game series at Oracle Park. 

Jeff Samardzija will get the start in his last outing of the season. He's currently 6-7 with a 3.89 ERA in 20 career appearances against the Rockies. 

Chris Shaw will start at first base against Rockies pitcher Tim Melville, who will get the ball for Colorado.
