Apple is expected to unveil its next iPhone at a special event on Sept. 10.
The new phone will have a major redesign of the overall look of the iPhone's menus and icons, according to All Things Digital.
Other new features include better photo-organizing abilities, and there is speculation there might be a fingerprint sensor.
The launch of the newest iPhone comes at a time when the company has seen its global market share dip because of lower-cost Android devices and competition from Samsung products.
The price of the new iPhone has not been announced.
