We all know there is no such thing as a free lunch but a free desert, maybe.
To commemorate the premiere of Bravo's “Top Chef Just Desserts” Wednesday night, San Francisco-based OpenTable has put together a group of Bay Area restaurants that will serve up free desserts.
More than 90 Bay Area restaurants --from Blu to Sakoon -- are participating in the promotion. But of course like anything free there is a catch, or two.
To qualify for a free dessert, you have to make a reservation at one of the participating restaurants online using OpenTable and then dine at the restaurant. For every two diners at a table, there will be one free dessert.
Of course if you dine out tonight, you might miss “Top Chef Just Desserts,” which sort of defeats the purpose of the promo. Unless of course you were only in it for the free dessert anyway.
