Brian Wilson Says He's Fine Thanks to Sasquatch

The colorful closer lets the world know how he is doing as only he can.

Brian Wilson's surgery last week left some in the baseball world wondering whether the San Francisco Giants' closer would ever return.

The team's athletic trainer Dave Groeschner said the surgery went well and as planned but the colorful Wilson had been quiet.

Until now.

A week after the pitcher's second Tommy John surgery in his career, he took to Twitter to let the world know he was feeling just fine and he did it in true Brian Wilson fashion.

"Surgery was perfect," he said. "Borrowed ligament from my ol' pal Sasquatch. Only side effects: hairy arm and I talk like a wookie (sic)."

And if the update was not amusing -- or strange -- enough, Wilson also posted a video on YouTube of himself and his ol' pal.

One thing not in doubt: He hasn't lost his sense of humor.
