Win like a Giant, parade like a Giant.

You and a friend could find yourselves at the World Series parade on Friday – that is, in the parade, riding one of the floats – if you're the lucky winner of an MLB auction underway Thursday afternoon. (Editor's note: The auction is over as of 6 p.m. Thursday)

Major League Baseball is auctioning off two spots for two people each – four paraders total – to ride on the Giants Community Fund float in the parade that steps off at noon.

Bidding was at $5,200 as of noon on Thursday, with the auction set to close at 6 p.m.

Beginning at noon, the 2014 World Series champs will snake through San Francisco at noon starting at Market and Steuart Streets and continuing down Market Street to Civic Center Plaza.

The lucky winners will need to show up to AT&T Park at 8 a.m. Friday in order to join the parade.

Bring your own champagne (or sparkling wine). The city will provide the confetti.
