Brown is back and telling the haters to step off.

Chris Brown broke his silence about his alleged beat-down of ex-girlfriend Rihanna this week, telling fans in a YouTube video that he isn't a "monster" and that all the "haters" should back off.

"Everybody that's haters, they've just been haters," Brown said in the video, which he recorded with friend and fellow rapper Bow Wow.

"All my real fans, I love y'all," Brown said in the May 26 clip. "I ain't a monster."

Brown hasn't spoken out about the Feb. 8 incident with singer Rihanna since he was hauled into court in Los Angeles and pleaded not guilty to assault charges.

The couple reportedly got into a fight over a text message Brown received from another woman.

Brown and Rihanna tried to make it work after the incident, which left her with a black eye and swollen lip -- but the pair hasn't been spotted together in several months.

Brown, who shot to fame with his R&B hit "Run It," also pitched his new album, "Graffiti," in the YouTube video, saying he expects to drop a new single this summer.

"Be ready for it," Brown said. "We ain't going nowhere."
