Shooting at Stockton Home Leaves 3 Dead, 2 Wounded

Police searching for motive in triple killing

    STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) - Investigators are trying to determine a motive behind a shooting at a Stockton home that left three family members dead and two other people wounded.

    The San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office has not released the victims' names or other details about the late Friday night shooting.

    The Record of Stockton reports that authorities received a 911 call from a man who reported that he, his girlfriend and others had been shot.

    Neighbors tell the newspaper a 6-year-old boy escaped the shooting and knocked on neighbors' doors for help.

    A makeshift memorial with candles and flowers had been set up around the home by Saturday afternoon.
