    Here's a soccer highlight you don't see every day (except for today, of course) -- an end-to-end boot for a goal.

    The San Jose Earthquakes' rookie goalie, David Bingham, kicked the ball from his own goal line all the way down field, bounced it over the West Bromwich Albion goalie's head and into the goal on Tuesday night at Buck Shaw Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

    Bingham's was playing for his home crowd, where he's not only a Bay Area native but he also went to Cal before joining the 'Quakes.

    San Jose beat West Bromwich Albion 2-1.
