Police are investigating the theft of thousands of dollars worth of alcohol from a Fremont store early Saturday.
At 12:47 a.m., officers responded to a burglary alarm at a business on the 5100 block of Mowry Avenue, according to police.
Officers arrived to find that the still unnamed business' front window had been smashed. A significant amount of high-end wine and whiskey had been stolen, police said.
The store's employees estimate the loss at more than $4,000, police said.
