San Jose Homicide Fugitive Arrested Near Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (AP) - A 34-year-old fugitive sought in the fatal shooting of a man in San Jose has been arrested in Nevada.

U.S. marshals arrested Shaun Moore on Friday in the Las Vegas area in connection with the Aug. 24 death of a 22-year-old man in the downtown area of San Jose.

Authorities say he was wanted by San Jose police and was arrested after investigators learned he had fled to the Las Vegas area.

Moore was identified as a suspect in the daytime shooting death of Ramon Garcia.

Police say Garcia got into an argument at a park near North Third and East Julian before he was shot and the shooting was captured by a surveillance camera.

Garcia died at the hospital.
